TrackWest offers limited training on Trial Days. This is open to ALL TrackWest Members, but must be co-ordinated with the Chief Steward and the Training Co-ordinator. Areas are limited so as not to interfere with judging. Judges often re-flag, or flag tracks in advance for the next trial day, so these areas may also be off limits. Instructors and judges may be using areas for training after completion of regular training or trials. |

In 2012 the Club Champion will be decided as follows (as done in 2011): All dogs gaining their Tracking Champion title during the preceding season will be eligible. In the first instance dogs will be selected by their grading eg all dogs with Excellent. Finalists will be then be narrowed down according to other factors eg comparison of how the track was worked, tracking history etc. This will be discussed and decided by TrackWest Judges and the Trial Secretary. If necessary a track off between evenly scoring dogs may occur. The Club Champion award will be presented at the Presentation Dinner. |
